Sweet Corn Cheese Samosa
Servings - 6 - 8

 

INGREDIENTS
Oil - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Green chili - 2 tablespoons
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tablespoons
Boiled corn - 160 grams
Green peas - 80 grams
Boiled potatoes - 230 grams
Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons
Mozzarella cheese
All purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
Water - 2 tablespoons
Spring roll sheets

 

PREPARATION


1. Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons oil in a heavy skillet, add 1 teaspoon cumin, 2 tablespoons green chili, 2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.
2. Add 160 grams boiled corn, 80 grams green peas, 230 grams boiled potatoes, 1 tablespoon coriander, 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and mix it well.
3. Make small balls of the mixture and place a small cube of mozzarella cheese in the middle.
4. Put 2 tablespoons all purpose flour in a small bowl and add enough water to make a thin paste.
5. Take a spring roll sheet shape it into a cone shape. ( see video)
6. Place the corn potato cheese ball in the middle of each sheet and brush the edges of the sheet with all purpose flour paste.
7. Now seal the edges and make it in a triangle shape.
8. Heat the oil for deep fry. Add the samosas in medium hot oil till golden brown.
9. Serve hot with mint coriander chutney.
