Tandoori Paneer Bread Samosa

INGREDIENTS

Oil - 1 teaspoon

Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon

Green Chili - 1 1/2 teaspoon

Onions - 20 grams

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Grated Paneer - 200 grams

Mint - 1 tablespoon

Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Black Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Red Chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Cumin Powder - 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander Powder - 1 teaspoon

Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon

Dry Mango Powder - 1 teaspoon

Garam Masala - 1/2 teaspoon

Tandoori Masala - 1 1/2 teaspoon

Dry Fenugreek Leaves - 1 teaspoon

Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon

Charcoal

Ghee - 1 teaspoon

Bread Slices - 15

Water

Oil - for frying

 

PREPARATION

  1. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan, add 1/2 teaspoon cumin and stir well.
  2. Now, add 1 1/2 teaspoon Green Chili, 20 grams onions and stir again.
  3. Then, add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and mix well.
  4. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams grated paneer, fried onions, 1 tablespoon mint, 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon dry mango powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1 1/2 teaspoon tandoori masala, 1 teaspoon dry fenugreek leaves and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
  5. Mix all the ingredients well.
  6. Smoke the mixture by placing charcoal in the centre and pouring 1 teaspoon ghee over the burning charcoal.
  7. Now, cover it for 5 minutes and let it smoke to impart the smoky flavour.
  8. Remove the lid and charcoal from bowl. Keep it aside.
  9. Flatten the bread slices with rolling pin in thin sheet, trim off the sides and corner, divide the bread slice in two equal halves diagonally.
  10. Now apply water on the cut edge & bring the corners together to make a cone. Press the edges together to seal the cone.
  11. Now fill the tandoori paneer filling into the cone.
  12. Set oil for frying and deep fry the samosa in hot oil until crisp and golden brown.
  13. Serve hot with with mint & coriander chutney or any dip of your choice.
