INGREDIENTS
Flattened rice - 50 grams
Hot water - 200 milliliters
Boiled mashed potatoes - 250 grams
Grated beetroot - 50 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Dry mango powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/4 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/4 teaspoon
Oil - 1 teaspoon
Burger bun
Mayonnaise - to taste
Lettuce - to taste
Onion ring - to taste
Tomato ring - to taste
Bell pepper ring - to taste
Cheese slice - to taste
Ketchup - to taste
PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 50 grams flattened rice, 200 milliliters hot water and soak for 5 minutes.
2. Strain the flattened rice and keep aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, add 250 grams boiled mashed potatoes, 50 grams grated beetroot, soaked flattened rice, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon dry mango powder, 1/4 teaspoon red chili, 1/4 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.
4. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a tikki.
5. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan, add the prepared tikki on it.
6. Cook until it turns Golden brown in color from all sides.
7. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
8. Take a burger bun and cut it into half.
9. On one side, add some mayonnaise and spread it evenly.
10. Place a lettuce, prepared tikki on it.
11. Add onion ring, tomato ring, bell pepper ring on it.
12. Top with cheese slice.
13. On the other side, add some ketchup and spread it evenly.
14. Cover it with another bun.
15. Prick a toothpick in it.
16. Serve.
