Hot Badam Milk

INGREDIENTS
Almonds - 25 grams
Water
Milk - 70 milliliters
Saffron - 1/8 teaspoon
Milk - 750 milliliters
Sugar - 70 grams
Cardamom - 1/2 teaspoon
Rose water - 1/4 teaspoon

 

PREPARATION


1. Soak 25 grams almonds in water for at least two hours then remove their skin.
2. Place almonds, 70 milliliters milk in a blender and blend it into a grainy paste. Set aside.
3. Use a mortar and pestle to crush 1/8 teaspoon saffron into a powder. Set aside. 
4. Heat 750 milliliters milk in a pot, add the almond paste in it and bring to a boil.
5. Add 70 grams sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cardamom, crushed saffron, 1/4 teaspoon rose water in it and stir.
6. Pour into a glass and garnish with saffron strands.
7. Serve.
