INGREDIENTS
Water - 250 milliliters
Tamarind - 1 tablespoon
Mint - 1/4 cup
Coriander - 1/4 cup
Ginger - 2 teaspoons
Water - 500 milliliters
Black salt - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
Jaggery - 1 tablespoon
Lemon - 1
Salt - to taste
Boondi - to taste
PREPARATION
1. Add 250 millilitres water in a pan. Bring it to a boil. Transfer it into a bowl.
2. Add 1 tablespoon tamarind in water.
3. Extract tamarind juice by soaking it in hot water for 15 minutes.
4. Add 1/4 cup mint, 1/4 cup coriander, 2 teaspoons ginger, water in a blender and blend until all the ingredients mix well.
5. Filter this mixture in a bowl and also filter the tamarind juice.
6. Add 500 milliliters water, 1 teaspoon black salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 tablespoon jaggery, juice of a lemon and salt in the bowl.
7. Mix it well and filter it.
8. Pour it into the glass and garnish with boondi.
9. Serve.
