Chia Seeds Curd Rice

INGREDIENTS

Chia Seeds- 2 tablespoons

Water- 200 milliliters

Desi Ghee- 1 tablespoon

Mustard Seeds- 1 teaspoon

Dry Red Chili- 2

Asafoetida- 1/4 teaspoon

Ginger- 1 teaspoon

Raw Peanuts- 2 teaspoons

Curry Leaves- 10-12

Greek Yogurt- 120 grams

Salt- 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander- for garnishing

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a small bowl, add 2 tablespoon chia seeds and 200 milliliters warm water.
  2. Soak them for 1 hour.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon desi ghee in a pan, add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, 2 dry red chili, 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida and give it a nice stir.
  4. Now, add 1 teaspoon ginger and mix stir again.
  5. Add 2 teaspoon raw peanuts, 10-12 curry leaves and mix all the ingredients well.
  6. Sauté for 2 minutes.
  7. Keep aside.
  8. In another mixing bowl, add soaked chia seeds, 120 grams greek yogurt, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix well.
  9. Now, add the prepared mixture in a serving dish and add tempering on it.
  10. Garnish with coriander.
  11. Serve.
