Egg Chilli

INGREDIENTS
Corn flour - 60 grams

All purpose flour - 70 grams

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Baking powder -  1 teaspoon

Water - 200 milliliters

Boiled eggs - 6

Oil - for frying

Oil - 2 tablespoons

Ginger - 2 teaspoons

Garlic - 2 teaspoons

Green chili - 2 teaspoons

Onions - 50 grams

Bell pepper - 60 grams

Ketchup - 60 grams

Chili garlic sauce - 2 tablespoons

Soy sauce - 1 1/2 teaspoons

Vinegar - 1 1/2 teaspoons

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon

Sugar -1 teaspoon

Water - 100 milliliters

Corn flour - 1 tablespoon

Water - 2 tablespoons

Spring onions - for garnishing

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a bowl, add 60 grams corn flour, 70 grams all purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 200 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
  2. Take a boiled egg and cut it into half.
  3. Dip the eggs in the prepared batter.
  4. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet and deep fry these until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Drain it on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
  6. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet, add 2 teaspoons ginger, 2 teaspoons garlic, 2 teaspoons green chili and stir for 1 - 2 minutes.
  7. Then, add 50 grams onions, add 60 grams bell pepper and mix it well.
  8. Cook for 7 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
  9. Add 60 grams ketchup, 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce, 1 1/2 teaspoons soy sauce, 1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar and mix it well.
  10. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon sugar and mix it well.
  11. Then, add 100 milliliters water and mix it again.
  12. Bring it to a boil.
  13. In a bowl, add 1 tablespoon corn flour, 2 tablespoons water and mix it well.
  14. Pour the mixture into the skillet and mix it well.
  15. Now, add the fried eggs in it and mix it again.
  16. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
  17. Remove it from heat.
  18. Garnish with spring onions.
  19. Serve.
