Aloo Gobi

Servings - 2

INGREDIENTS 

Oil - 1 tablespoon 

Chopped onions - 100 grams 

Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon 

Tomato puree - 100 grams

Salt- 1 teaspoon

Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Cumin - 1 teaspoon

Dry mango powder - 1 teaspoon

Potatoes - 150 grams

Cauliflower - 300 grams

Green peas - 50 grams

PREPARATION

 

1. Take a pot, add 1 tablespoon oil and heat it. Add 100 grams onion and sauté till light golden.

2. Now add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste, 100 grams tomato puree and stir for 3-5 minutes.

3. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric , 1 teaspoon cumin and 1 teaspoon dry mango powder, stir well for 2-3 minutes or till all the ingredients get mixed well.

4. Now add 150 grams potatoes and mix them well.

5. Add in 300 grams cauliflower, mix it well. Close the lid of pot and let it cook on low heat for 15 - 20 minutes . If needed stir two to three times in-between.

6. Now add 50 grams peas, mix them well and once again close the lid of pot. Cook for another 5 - 6 minutes. 

7. Serve hot with roti.
