Boondi Ki Sabzi

INGREDIENTS

Gram flour - 320 grams
Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
Rice flour - 60 grams
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 200 milliliters
Oil - for frying
Oil - 2 tablespoons
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Onions - 65 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tablespoons
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Tomato - 70 grams
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Curd - 100 grams
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
Water - 300 milliliters
Coriander - 2 tablespoons

PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 320 grams gram flour, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 60 grams rice flour, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 200 milliliters water and mix it well to make a thick batter.
2. Rest the batter for 10 minutes.
3. Heat sufficient oil in a skillet, take small holes perforated spoon and pour the prepared batter on it.
4. Slowly tap with the help of spoon, so the drop of batter fall into oil.
5. Fry till golden brown and crispy. Drain it on an absorbent paper.
6. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a skillet, add 1 teaspoon cumin and stir well.
7. Then, add 65 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
8. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 tablespoons ginger garlic paste, 1 teaspoon red chili and mix it well.
9. Now, add 70 grams tomato and mix it well.
10. Saute for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat or until it turns soft and pulpy.
11. Add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon green chili and mix it well.
12. Then, add 100 grams curd and mix it well.
13. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
14. Add 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.
15. Add 300 milliliters water and mix it well.
16. Bring it to a boil.
17. Now, add the fried boondi and mix it well.
18. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
19. Add 2 tablespoons coriander and mix it well.
20. Remove it from heat.
21. Serve hot.
