McDonald’s Style Cheesy Veg Rice Bowl

INGREDIENTS

Water - 1.5 litres
Rice - 250 grams
Water - 500 milliliters
Whole grain wheat - 100 grams
Butter - 100 grams
All purpose flour - 100 grams
Milk - 800 milliliters
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
White pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Mozzarella cheese - 30 grams
Oil - 30 milliliters
Onions - 70 grams
Carrots - 100 grams
Green beans - 60 grams
Green peas - 100 grams
Sweet corn - 100 grams
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Powdered sugar - 1 teaspoon
Oregano - 1 teaspoon
Chilli flakes - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
Ketchup - 60 grams
Oil - 25 milliliters
Carrots - 30 grams
Green beans - 25 grams
Green peas - 30 grams
Sweet corn - 30 grams
Salt - 1/4 teaspoon

PREPARATION


1. Take a heavy skillet, add 1.5 litres water, 250 grams rice and mix it well.
2. Bring it to a boil.
3. Boil for 8 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
4. Remove it from heat and drain the rice.
5. Take a pressure cooker, add 500 milliliters water, 100 grams whole grain wheat and cover it with lid.
6. Cook until you hear 1 whistle.
7. Open the lid and remove it from heat.
8. Heat 100 grams butter in a deep pan, add 100 grams all purpose flour and mix it well.
9. Then, add 800 milliliters milk and mix it well.
10. Bring it to a boil.
11. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder, 30 grams mozzarella cheese and mix it well.
12. Cook until the sauce thickens.
13. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
14. Heat 30 milliliters oil in a heavy skillet, add 70 grams onions and fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
15. Now, add 100 grams carrots, 60 grams green beans, 100 grams green peas, 100 grams sweet corn and mix it well.
16. Cook for 8 - 10 minutes on medium heat.
17. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon oregano, 1 teaspoon chilli flakes, 1 teaspoon black pepper powder, 60 grams ketchup and mix it well.
18. Then, add the boiled rice and mix it well.
19. Now, add the boiled whole grain wheat and mix it again.
20. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
21. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
22. Heat 25 milliliters oil in a pan, add 30 grams carrots, 25 grams green beans, 30 grams green peas, 30 grams sweet corn and mix it well.
23. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
24. Add 1/4 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
25. Remove it from heat and keep aside.
26. Add the prepared rice in a serving bowl.
27. Add some prepared cheese sauce on top of it.
28. Garnish with veggies.
29. Serve hot.
