Methi Makki di Roti

INGREDIENTS
Fenugreek leaves - 35 grams
Onions - 55 grams
Maize flour - 200 grams
Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Carom seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Lukewarm water - 125 milliliters
Water
Ghee



PREPARATION


1. In a mixing bowl, add 35 grams fenugreek leaves, 55 grams onions, 200 grams maize flour, 1 teaspoon garlic paste, 1 teaspoon ginger paste, 1 teaspoon green chili, 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix all the ingredients well.
2. Add 125 milliliters lukewarm water. Bring the mixture together and knead into a smooth soft dough. 
3. Take a medium size ball from the dough. (see video)
4. Roll a dough ball into medium sized paratha or rounds.
5. Heat a pan, place paratha on it and cook on moderate heat for three minutes. Turn it and pour a teaspoon of ghee, spread it on paratha and shallow fry over low heat.
6. Turn it and again pour a teaspoon of ghee other side. Cook on low heat till golden brown. 
7. Serve hot with fresh yogurt or butter.
