Palak Paneer

INGREDIENTS

Water - 1 litre

Spinach - 500 grams

Onions - 50 grams

Tomato - 50 grams

Oil - 50 milliliters

Garlic - 1 tablespoon

Ginger - 1 tablespoon

Green Chili - 1 tablespoon

Black Cardamom - 1

Cinnamon - 1

Cloves - 4

Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Garam Masala - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1 tablespoon

Paneer - 200 grams

PREPARATION

1. Take a pot, add 1 litre water and 500 grams spinach. Blanch into boiling water for 2 minutes. 

2. Place the spinach in a blender, add 50 grams onions, 50 grams tomato and blend into a fine paste to make a smooth spinach puree.

3. Heat 50 milliliters of oil in a heavy pan. Add 1 tablespoon garlic, 1 tablespoon ginger, 1 tablespoon green chili, 1 black cardamom, 1 cinnamon, 4 cloves and stir.

4. Add 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon garam masala, 1 tablespoon salt ad stir for 2 - 3 minutes.

5. Then add the spinach puree and stir. When the gravy comes to boil, add the paneer and mix well.

6. Serve hot and enjoy.
