Palak Paneer Bhurji Masala

INGREDIENTS

Tomato - 150 grams

Oil - 2 teaspoons

Spinach - 100 grams

Oil - 2 tablespoons

Cumin - 1 teaspoon

Garlic  - 1 teaspoon

Ginger -1 teaspoon

Green chili - 1 teaspoon

Onions - 100 grams

Tomato - 100 grams

Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon

Salt - 1 teaspoon

Red chili - 1 teaspoon

Garam Masala - 1/4 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon

Grated paneer - 350 grams

Coriander - 1 tablespoon

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a blender, add 150 grams tomato and blend it smooth paste.
  2. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in a pan, add 100 grams spinach and saute for 2 - 3 minutes.
  3. Now, in another pan heat 2 tablespoons oil, add 1 teaspoon cumin,  teaspoon garlic, 1 teaspoon ginger,  teaspoon green chili and saute for 1 - 2 minutes.
  4. Then, add 100 grams onions and  fry till translucent or until it turns golden brown in color.
  5. Add 100 grams tomato and saute until it turns soft and pulpy.
  6. Now, add blended tomato puree and cook for 2 - 3 minutes.
  7. Then, add 1/4 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1/4 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder and mix it well.
  8. Now, add cooked spinach and mix it.
  9. Then, add 350 grams grated paneer and Cover it with  lid and cook for 5 minutes.
  10. Now, add 1 tablespoon coriander and mix it.
  11. Remove it from heat.
  12. Serve.
