INGREDIENTS


Shahi Rajwada Paneer

Servings - 2 - 3

INGREDIENTS
Cashews - 50 grams
Warm water - 50 milliliters
Oil - 1 teaspoon
Paneer - 250 grams
Ghee - 2 tablespoons
Bay leaf - 1
Green cardamom - 2 pods
Cloves - 2 pods
Cumin - 1 teaspoon
Onions - 150 grams
Green chili - 1 teaspoon
Ginger - 1 tablespoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Red chili - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 100 milliliters
Fresh cream - 50 milliliters
Water - 100 milliliters
Coriander - 1 tablespoon

PREPARATION


1. In a bowl, add 50 grams cashews, 50 milliliters warm water and soak for 30 minutes.
2. Transfer this into a blender and blend it into a paste. Keep aside.
3. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan, add 250 grams paneer cubes and mix it well.
4. Cook until it turns golden brown in color from all sides.
5. Remove it from heat and drain it on an absorbent paper.
6. Heat 2 tablespoons ghee in a another pan, add 1 bay leaf, 2 pods green cardamom, 2 pods cloves, 1 teaspoon cumin nd stir well.
7. Then, add 150 grams onions and fry till translucent.
8. Add 1 teaspoon green chili, 1 tablespoon ginger and stir well.
9. Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala and mix it well.
10. Cook for 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
11. Now, add the blended cashew paste and mix it well.
12. Add 100 milliliters water and mix it again.
13. Cover it with lid and cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
14. Open the lid and give it a nice stir.
15. Then, add 50 milliliters fresh cream and mix it well.
16. Now, add the fried paneer and mix it well.
17. Cook for 5 - 7 minutes on medium heat.
18. Add 100 milliliters water and mix it well.
19. Again cover it with lid and cook for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
20. Open the lid and give it a nice stir.
21. Add 1 tablespoon coriander and mix it well.
22. Cook for another 3 - 5 minutes on medium heat.
23. Remove it from heat.
24. Garnish with coriander.
25. Serve hot.
