Sukhe Gatte Ki Sabzi

INGREDIENTS

Gram flour - 300 grams

Carom seeds - 1/4 teaspoon

Cumin - 1/4 teaspoon

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Water - 100 milliliters

Oil - 2 tablespoons

Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon

Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon

Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon

Dry mango powder - 1 teaspoon

Salt - 1/2 teaspoon

Water - 60 milliliters

Coriander - for garnish

 

 

PREPARATION

  1. In a mixing bowl, add 300 grams gram flour, 1/4 teaspoon carom seeds, 1/4 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1/2 teaspoon red chili. Mix well.
  2. Now, add 100 milliliters water and knead it to smooth dough.
  3. Take a small portion of from the dough and roll it into a long elongate shape.
  4. Heat sufficient water in a wok and add prepared rolls in it.
  5. Bring it to boil and stir occasionally.
  6. Now, take out the boiled rolls from the wok and cut it into small pieces.
  7. Transfer it into a bowl and keep aside.
  8. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan, add 1/2 teaspoon cumin, stir once ,then add  1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon garam masala, 1 teaspoon dry mango powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix well
  9. Add chopped rolls and stir it well.
  10. Now, add 60 milliliters water and give it a nice mix.
  11. Garnish it with coriander.
  12. Serve hot.
