Samosa Chaat

INGREDIENTS
Butter - 1 tablespoon
Onions - 70 grams
Tomato - 60 grams
Boiled white peas - 200 grams
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
Red chili - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Chaat masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Channa masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Water - 50 milliliters
Samosas - 2
Mint coriander chutney - 1 tablespoon
Tamarind chutney - 1 tablespoon

(For Garnishing)
Tamarind chutney - to taste
Mint coriander chutney - to taste
Tomato - to taste
Onions - to taste
Yogurt -to taste
Coriander - to taste
Sev - to taste

 

PREPARATION


1. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a pan, add 70 grams onions and sauce them till they turn translucent.
2. Then add 60 grams tomato and mix well. Sauce this onion tomato tomato masala till the tomatoes turn soften and become pulpy.
3. Add 200 grams boiled chickpeas and mix well.
4. Next add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red chili, 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala, 1/2 teaspoon channa masala and mix it well.
5. Add 50 milliliters water and mix well. Cook till the gravy becomes slightly thick.
6. Now add 2 samosas mash little bit and cook for 2 - 3 minutes then add 1 tablespoon mint coriander chutney, 1 tablespoon tamarind chutney and mix well.
7. Transfer it into a plate and top with tamarind chutney, mint coriander chutney, tomato, onions, yogurt, coriander and sev as per your requirements.
8. Serve immediately.
